What day is it, again? If you get the sense that the days are running together and your routine has ghosted you then you’re not alone. Although many of us feel that the current events are out of our control, there are still aspects of our daily lives that are within our power to improve. We have compiled a short list of tips to prioritize wellness during your time in self-quarantine.
1. Reach Out
Prioritizing mental health during this time of uncertainty is a great first step in nurturing your overall wellness. Speaking with a therapist via a telehealth app makes seeking therapy easier than ever before. There are a lot of platforms to choose from.
Clearing your mind of stressful clutter on a daily basis will continue to strengthen your mental health. Setting time aside for meditation will help you to focus, embrace optimism, and prioritize what is most important in your life. Apps to guide you in your journey to meditation are easy to find. Hop on the app store, YouTube, or even ask friends and family who meditate to share tips and suggestions.
3. Meal Plan and Prep
Nourish your body with healthy food and create the habit of meal planning and prepping for the week. Set the timer on your phone for 30 minutes and commit to planning your menu for the week ahead. Set what you will eat each day and then make your shopping list. Leave no uncharted territory. Plan your snacks, drinks, etc. Making a menu that is meticulously planned will help you to eat well.
A meal replacement supplement is a lifesaver here, particularly one that fulfills your daily supplements and then some, to keep you healthy and nourished while you’re cooped up. Try our Greens + Protein– a delicious, vegan, meal-replacement that will keep you on your A-game...even in isolation.
4. Get Moving
The fitness community has really shown up for everyone during this time. Many fitness companies and initiatives have made their exercise programs free or deeply discounted during COVID-19. If you aren’t already in a regular exercise routine or you’re looking to change things up now is the time to do it.

5. Catch Some Zzz's
There’s no doubt that stress affects sleep. If you aren’t sleeping well at night try implementing small changes that will make a big difference for your sleep. Avoid being on your phone right before bed. Go to bed at the same time each night. Take time to clean your bedroom each day by making your bed, cleaning up laundry, and clearing clutter on your nightstand. If you find yourself exhausted mid-day then take a nap if you are able. Your wellness isn’t worth putting on the line. Sleep as you need. Create a bedtime routine that works for you.
